比利时国有专业学院 Hogeschoolen是比利时高等教育的重要组成部分（相当于中国的college），他和University一起，提供各种学科的教育。同样可以授予各种学位，包括硕士学位。但Hogescholen不能提供博士学位。它所提供的学历和University一样被世界各国及中国所认可。
有的比利时国有专业学院 Hogescholen规模庞大，校园美丽，决不逊色 University。
比利时国有专业学院 Hogescholen的录取条件较低，不象University那样，门槛很高。因此适合高中和大专、本科未取得学位的毕业生申请比利时留学。 有的比利时国有专业学院
